Focivio is designed to help you focus without turning your attention into a product. This policy explains what the Web/PWA and Android versions use and why.

Data stored by the Web/PWA

The current MVP stores focus minutes, session count, streak, Energy and building progress locally in your browser. This information is not uploaded to our servers. Clearing browser storage removes it.

Android Usage Access

If you explicitly enable Usage Access, the Android app may read the foreground package name during a focus session to detect an app you selected as distracting. This processing happens on your device. Focivio does not upload, sell or share app-usage history.

Foreground service and notifications

During a user-started focus session, Android may show an ongoing notification and reminders for user-selected distracting apps. The service ends when the session ends or when you stop it.

Permissions

• Usage Access: optional; used only during active focus sessions.
• Notifications: optional; used for the active timer and focus reminders.
• Internet: required to load and update the Focivio experience.

Accounts and payments

Accounts, cloud sync and payments are not active in this MVP. This policy will be updated before those features launch.

Your choices

You can revoke Usage Access and notification permissions in Android Settings at any time. You can stop an active session from Focivio or the system notification.
